About the job Driver
Aero Support Force has a requirement for a skilled, knowledgeable, and responsible individual to fill this position in our Heidelberg branch within the Starlite Group.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Transport visitors / staff to and from respective destinations.
- Deliver and collect packages to customers/suppliers in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and operational vehicle.
- Perform vehicle inspections for mechanical items and safety issues and report all problems/defects to the Facilities Supervisor.
- Update monthly mileage records and monitor maintenance due.
- Adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations to avoid accidents or incidents.
- Drive the company vehicle safely and responsibly.
- Ensure that all necessary paperwork and documentation are in order before transporting goods and passengers.
- Periodic responsibility for driving outside regular hours may be necessary on occasion.

QUALIFICATIONS AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The following list of qualifications is essential to fill the position:
- Valid Drivers License (Code 8 or 10)
- Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
- +- 2 years driving experience
- Hazchem Certificate (preferable)
- Excellent navigation skills
- Vehicle mechanical knowledge
- The above position will be filled in accordance with the Recruitment and Selection Policy to achieve the Groups Objectives and Goals.
