Job Description
Deposita a leading cash & payment solutions company, has a vacancy for a Receptionist (Temp) based at our Head Office in Midrand, Gauteng reporting to the National Customer Support Manager.
Responsible for providing an efficient and customer focused service as the front line receptionist.
We welcome applications from all suitably qualified candidates, but SA citizens will have a distinct advantage.
Effective management of reception at the Head Office
- Courteous and appropriate reception of visitors
- Maintenance of a neat and orderly reception area
- Co-ordination of mail, deliveries and courier parcels
Switchboard management
- Courteous, timely and appropriate answering and screening of telephone calls, taking of accurate and complete messages, delivered timeously
- Updated telephone extension list distributed regularly
Health and Safety
- Participate in the design/ development/ review/ implementation and monitoring of the departmental safety plans for each year
- Participate in safety forums created by the company for example safety meetings and safety talks
- Report all safety incidents to the relevant people
- Discuss all safety incidents
- Follow-up on any activities assigned through safety meeting/committee/representative/management
- Attend safety education and refresher programs
- Comply with safety policies and procedures at the workplace
- Distribute safety information as and when required
Qualification and Experience
- Grade 12 / Matric Equivalent
- Diploma in Office Management administration (Advantageous)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a related position
- Relevant experience in administration
