Description
The position of general worker shift loader has become available at Triton Express in Gqeberha .
RESPONSIBILITIES:
To assist with all general duties within the Treating Area in Factory. Ensure all seed / items that must be discarded is done according to correct procedure on a continuous basis / daily. Ensure that the incinerator is operated in the correct and safe manner. All seed / items that are discarded to be documented.
Assists fellow workers with execution of tasks whenever own responsibilities have been executed and completed. Assists with the bi-annual as well as ad hoc stock counts/checks as per Warehouse Supervisor’s instruction.
Ensures that work area/s are neat, tidy, organised and clean at all times. Assists with and adheres to security measures to ensure the safety of products, assets and facility. Acts responsible and professionally at all times, fostering goodwill and a positive image for the Company.
- Loading / Offloading of cargo from Linehauls
- Assistance with loading / offloading of cargo from local vehicles – as and when required
- General housekeeping – as and when required
Job Requirements:
- Std 8 (Grd 10)
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to communicate in English
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to work overtime as and when required due to clients requirements
- Reliable
- A high degree of integrity required
- Presentable at all times
- Own transport to and from work
