Introduction
A vacancy exists for an Administration Assistant based at Life Hilton Private Hospital, reporting to, Finance and Admin Manager, Mandy Ruthanum. The successful candidate will be responsible for capturing data and financial information, executing specific financial processes such as processing requisitions, and handling general administrative functions within Life Healthcare’s financial accounting operations.
Critical Outputs
- Assisting the Admin Officer with ad-hoc tasks.
- General admin duties, e.g. filing, taking of minutes, etc.
- Answering telephones and proper handling of verbal and written messages.
- Maintaining a proper filing system.
- Admission and Discharge of patients.
- Accurate capturing of patient’s statistics on Imeds and or any other.
- Assisting in reviewing and establishing adequate internal controls.
- Constantly striving to improve working methods to improve standardization and efficiencies.
- Archive management.
Requirements
- Minimum Grade 12.
- Office Admin studies will be added advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Knowledge of SAP and IMEDS.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Deadline driven.
- At least 1-year experience as Administration assistant in a healthcare facility will be an added advantage.
