Job Description
To ensure the requirements of the client specific battery limits for the operation of plant reagents are met and also ensure that deviations related to reagents including anything that can affect the running of reagents is reported
Required outputs: functional
- Reagents quality control
- Reagents flowrate measurements
- Offloading of reagents
- Sampling
- Reagents stock taking & Data capturing
- Operate and be in charge of reagent equipment
- Conduct Safety inspections and equipment inspections at the start of every shift and correct non-compliance to objectives and safety standards
- Reporting deviations outside of reagents parameter to the Supervisors/Vendor Manager
- Housekeeping in the section to maintain a clean and safe environment
Qualifications & Experience
- Grade 12 with Mathematics & Science or NQF 4 Chemical Operations
- Diploma in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering will be advantageous
- Previous work experience in a Flotation plant will be advantageous
- Must be computer literate
- Be willing to relocate as and when required by the business
- Living in the area where the mine is located
