Job Description

The Workshop Admin Clerk will assist with workshop administration and communication tasks. The successful candidate will help streamline workshop operations by managing records, coordinating job cards, and supporting both internal and external communications.

Minimum Requirements

Education / Training

  • Grade 12 (Matric)

Work Experience

  • Minimum of six (6) months of relevant administrative or workshop experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and manage job cards for all workshop activities
  • Prepare pro-forma invoices for job cards
  • Generate and process orders from external vendors related to job cards
  • Handle daily bank deposits and maintain accurate financial records
  • Ensure the risk file (GMR) is up to date and all required forms are signed off
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with both internal and external clients
  • Respond promptly to client queries and ensure efficient problem resolution

Technical Knowledge and Competencies

  • Basic understanding of workshop administration processes
  • Computer literacy, particularly in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of workshop parts, maintenance items, and ordering procedures
