Firefighter Grade 3 to assist the AR&FFS department during aircraft movements. With the purpose of saving lives, protecting property, and preventing fires during flight movements, airport operational hours and after hours if required, as well as maintaining vehicles and firefighting equipment in good order to ensure immediate response to an emergency and providing emergency medical assistance.
Requirements
- The minimum education requirement is a Grade 12 certificate of equivalent.
- Must have BA Apparatus training.
- Hazmat Awareness
- Must have done Fire Fighter course up to level 1 SAESI accredited
- Must have a minimum of 1 years’ experience at a recognised professional Emergency Services Department or Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting Services
- Must have experience as a Fire Tender driver/operator. With off road driving
