As a Messenger / Cleaner at Ampath, you play a vital role in creating a clean, welcoming, and efficient environment for both patients and staff. Your responsibilities include maintaining the cleanliness of the care centre or laboratory, collecting specimens, delivering reports, and assisting with general tasks that support the smooth running of the facility.

Role Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity, you bring a Grade 12 certificate, which demonstrates your foundational knowledge and readiness to contribute in a structured, professional environment.
With twelve months of experience in a cleaning or messenger role ideally within a healthcare setting, you should understand the importance of maintaining a clean, organised space and providing timely support to colleagues and clients.
Your experience equips you to work independently while being part of a team that values accountability, consistency, and service excellence.
Skills Requirements
This role requires a practical and people-focused skill set. You are able to read, write, and speak fluently in both English and Afrikaans, ensuring clear communication with colleagues and clients.
Your ability to perform basic numerical calculations supports accuracy in everyday tasks, while your approachable and helpful nature contributes to a people-centric culture that values engagement and teamwork.
