- BCM District (1 Post): Based in East London (Mdantsane Public Library).
- Joe Gqabi District (3 Posts): Based in Maletswai (Barkly East, Lower Tsitsana, and Steynsburg Libraries).
- OR Tambo District (1 Post): Based in Mthatha (Gxwalibomvu modular Library).

Requirements and Competencies
To qualify for these roles, candidates must meet the following minimum criteria:
- Education: A National Senior Certificate plus a National Diploma, B.Bibl Degree, or B.Tech (NQF Level 6) in Library and Information Science or Information Studies.
- Experience: 1 to 2 years of working experience in a Library and Information Service field.
- Driving License: A valid driving license is required.
- Skills: Knowledge of public service legislation and library procedures. Strong computer literacy, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
Key Duties
Successful candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Implementing awareness campaigns and reading programmes to promote library use.
- Managing and reconciling library materials and stock control.
- Compiling monthly user statistics and report writing.
- Supervision of staff and management of library assets.
- Ensuring the sustainability of library structures and mini-lib services.
