Introduction
The Fairies Cleaning Services National, has various cleaning vacancies available in eight sites:
- Waterfall, KwaZulu Natal;
- Hillcrest, KwaZulu Natal;
- Tygervalley, Western Cape;
- Ottery, Western Cape;
- Kuils River, Western Cape;
- Park Rynie, KwaZulu Natal;
- Port Shepstone, KwaZulu Natal;
- Shelly Beach, KwaZulu Natal.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Waterfall – Workshop Cleaner
- Hillcrest – Gardener
- Tygervalley – 2 x Driver/Cleaner; 2 x Cleaner; 1 x Supervisor/Team Leader
- Ottery – 1 x driver/cleaner; 1 x Cleaner
- Kuilsriver – 1 x driver/cleaner
- Park Rynie (Recon centre site) – 1x cleaner
- Port Shepstone 4 x cleaners
- Shelly beach 2 x cleaners
Cleaners are required to take care of all equipment and to ensure that they are in working order. Inform the supervisor of any damages. Deal with complaints and requests with politeness. To check stock and consumables levels and replace when it is needed. Adhere to all rules on health and safety and any other rules that the client has put in place.
Supervisor/ Team Leader is to maintain quality of cleaning on the site. Ensuring that Standard Operating Procedures are adhered to. Communicating with department managers to ensure that deadlines are met 100% on time all the time. Supervise Staff and ensure that basic protocols are always adhered to.
Washbay cleaners are to perform a variety of cleaning activities such as drying the exterior of the vehicle and cleaning the interior of the vehicle. To take care of all equipment and to ensure they are in working order. Inform the supervisor of any damages.
Gardener is to ensure monitoring the health of all plants and greenscapes, watering and feeding plants, trimming trees and shrubs, fertilizing and mowing lawns, weeding gardens and keeping green spaces and walkways clear of debris and litter.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Grade 12/ Matric, valid driver’s license for cleaner drivers.
Experience as a cleaner. To be able to work without any supervision and still maintain the high standards that the Fairies has put in place.
Work quickly, quietly, and smartly. Customer friendly, time management skills and, knowledge of the English language. The ideal candidate must be friendly, helpful, communicate well and be physically strong as the job is physically demanding.
