Purpose of the job:
Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the buildings. Performs a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth running of the organization and the main custodian for upkeep of housekeeping
Key Responsibilites:
- Maintain all general housekeeping of the Brand home and its operations.
- Prepare for all tea/coffee/meal services before and throughout conferences, meetings, or special events.
- Responsible for cleaning of tasting room, conference facilities and restaurant throughout the day. All floors, surfaces, glassware, doors, windows.
- Prepare all public spaces before guests arrive.
- Report any maintenance, cleaning or safety related issues observed.
- Manage and take stock of all cleaning materials and equipment.
- Follow Heineken Beverages policies and procedures and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Education & Experience:
- Matric
- Relevant courses or certificates in cleanliness and hygiene management
- Proven experience as a general worker in a hospitality environment.
- Front of house or service experience
- Food and beverage preparation experience
- Proactive
- Self-leading with minimal supervision
- Willing to be flexible and adapt to change.
- Able to work after hours and weekends, public holidays, and festive seasons.
