Job Description
Primary purpose of the job:
Receiving and inspection of local / imported material and store items into the warehouse and on SAP.
Key Performance Areas:
- Receive local / imported material and store items
- Ensure proper stacking and labelling of goods received
- Ensure accurate capturing of information on the SAP system
- Capture and report Lot & FIFO controls
- Ensure that work practises comply with the company SHE procedures and works instruction.
Knowledge and Skills required:
- Understanding of the logistics function in an automotive environment
- Knowledge of production items within an automotive environment
- Knowledge of receiving goods
- SAP experience on receiving goods
- Computer literate – basics (Windows & SAP)
- Communication and interpersonal
- Problem solving
- Numerical skills
- Document handling and filling
Minimum Requirements
- NQF Level Grade 12/ Level 4
- Minimum 5 years general logistics and stores experience within an automotive environment
- Minimum 5 years receiving of goods experience
