Key Responsibilities
Customer Interaction & Service
- Greet customers using Pick n Pay’s standard greeting protocol
- Provide assistance by understanding product locations, features, and benefits
- Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues when required
- Promote store products and respond to inquiries courteously
Stock Management & Merchandising
- Follow standard procedures for stocking shelves and rotating products
- Ensure displays are neat, organized, and aligned with store standards
- Check product quality, remove expired stock, and maintain rotation
- Prevent wastage, shrinkage, and damages
- Verify correct pricing and labels
Store Operations & Hygiene
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Follow hygiene standards, especially in perishable departments
- Operate and clean equipment safely
- Maintain temperatures and cold chain requirements where necessary
- Adhere to security procedures
