Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Minimum Grade 12
  • Passion for Automobiles: Genuine interest and enthusiasm for cars and the automotive industry.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: A customer-first mindset with a focus on providing outstanding service.
  • Driven and Goal-Oriented: Self-motivated, ambitious, and eager to achieve sales targets.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Integrity: Demonstrated ethical conduct and respect for customers and colleagues.
  • Valid Driver’s License: A current and valid driver’s license is required for this position.
  • Prior experience in sales or customer service, especially in the automotive industry, would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software.

Duties and Responsibilities

As a Vehicle Sales Cadet, you will undergo comprehensive training to become proficient in selling vehicles while providing exceptional customer experiences.  Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Product Knowledge: Gaining in-depth knowledge of the vehicles in our inventory, including features, specifications, and pricing, to effectively showcase and highlight their advantages to potential customers.
  • Sales Techniques: Learning and implementing effective sales strategies to build relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and guiding them through the buying process.
  • Customer Service: Delivering outstanding customer service at all times, ensuring customers feel valued and informed throughout their vehicle buying journey.
  • Lead Generation: Proactively prospecting and generating new leads through various channels, such as referrals, cold-calling, and networking events.
  • Sales Presentations: Conducting engaging and informative vehicle presentations to prospective buyers, highlighting the unique selling points of each model.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Mastering negotiation skills to reach mutually beneficial agreements with customers and successfully closing sales deals.
  • Sales Administration: Assisting with paperwork and documentation related to vehicle sales, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
