JOB PURPOSE

This exciting opportunity exists in Fraser Alexander to assist with the general activities of the site as instructed by the line manager and operating as per site specific needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations

• Assess risks on a daily basis.
• Number valve stations, color-code plant equipment and position projectors.
• Deposit residues in the required profile.
• Assists and executes duties and instructions from supervisors as requested.
• Take densities, samples and record this information.

Housekeeping

• Practice good housekeeping around all work areas.
• Store equipment properly.

Health and Safety

• Follow safe written/verbal work procedures when performing specific tasks in the event of an emergency, as per training.
• Wear appropriate PPE for each specific task.
• Follow all safety and emergency procedures in accordance with site-specific training and standards.
• Report unsafe acts.

REQUIREMENTS: qualifications

• Holder of a National Diploma

EXPERIENCE

• A minimum of 1-3 years’ experience working in a similar role

• Be able to read, write and communicate in French
• Be honest and reliable
• Have a sense of responsibility
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Medically fit to work in a mining environment
