- Identify Leads: Utilize teller system prompts to identify sales leads and cross-selling opportunities during routine customer interactions.
- Campaign Awareness: Keep brief, direct notes on active sales campaigns and effectively hand off interested leads to Sales Consultants.
4. Compliance, Risk, and Security Management
- Fraud Prevention: Strictly adhere to banking policies, including the “2 ID Buddy” framework when dealing with checks, notes, and identification documents to mitigate fraud risk.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain rigorous adherence to the South African Reserve Bank (SARB) minimum requirements and Money Laundering control frameworks.
- Physical Security: Secure the branch safe, teller drawers, stamps, keys, and workstations according to official procedures. Keep your workspace locked and secure whenever you step away.
