Key Duties & Responsibilities
As the Customer Service Centre Manager in eThekwini, you will wear many hats—ranging from financial strategist to customer relations expert. The core responsibilities include:
- Operations & Leadership: Full management and operational responsibility for the Service Centre, reporting directly to the Head of Operations.
- Financial Management: Overseeing turnover, expenses, budgeting, and overall profitability to meet or exceed the company’s business plan.
- Sales & Marketing: Assisting with market forecasting, machine sales, and managing budgets to grow and maintain market share.
- After-Sales Service: Acting as a critical client liaison, handling complex queries, resolving technical issues, and driving customer development.
- Team Development: Working hand-in-hand with the Head of Operations to handle general management and cultivate the development of team members.
- Compliance: Ensuring full management of and adherence to the OSH Act (Occupational Health and Safety Act) requirements within the Service Centre.

Education & Qualifications
- Minimum of a University entrance Matric certificate.
- Preference will be given to university graduates holding management and/or marketing diplomas.
Experience & Skills
- Industry Experience: A minimum of 5 years of sales and/or management experience in the Earthmoving or a closely related heavy-machinery industry is highly advantageous.
- Technical Knowledge: Having hands-on technical knowledge and direct experience with the Bell range of equipment will give your application a significant competitive edge.
- Soft Skills: Essential traits include strong verbal/written communication, elite negotiation skills, and top-tier planning and people management capabilities.
- Attributes: Candidates must be highly self-motivated and resourceful.
