Job Advert Summary
The purpose of this position is to perform general production support duties within the Powder Factory, including shrink-wrapping, sorting damaged products, loading, cleaning, and assisting with any other tasks as required by the Production team to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-organised working environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
As a General Worker at Clover, your day-to-day tasks will include performing basic and general operational duties. You will be expected to:
- Complete basic tasks according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Handle products safely and efficiently throughout the production line.
- Fully comply with all standard Health and Safety regulations.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards within the factory workstation.
- Carry out any ad-hoc tasks as required by management, including shrink-wrapping, sorting damaged products, loading, cleaning, and supporting the broader production team.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:
- Education: Grade 12 or an equivalent NQF4 qualification.
- Language: Fluent in Business English.
- Physical Capability: Ability to work in extreme conditions.
- Flexibility: Willingness and availability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Assessments: Must be able to pass the company’s Readiness Assessments.
- Experience (Advantageous): Previous work experience within a Powder department or factory setting will be highly advantageous, though not strictly mandatory.
