Job Purpose
The main objective of the AARTO Back-Office Administrator is to provide comprehensive administrative support services to the AARTO Back Office, ensuring smooth processing of elective options and supporting the integrity of the National Contravention Register (NCR).
Key Responsibilities & Duties

Administrative Support Services
- Open mail items received in conjunction with the Facilities Unit / Revenue Unit.
- Sort mail items according to the type of elective option received.
- Date stamp the first page of the applicable elective option form.

- Follow up with infringers who submitted incorrect or incomplete application forms.
- Handle telephone calls and email enquiries received from members of the public regarding submitted elective option applications.
- Assist other business units and perform front office duties as and when requested.
Process & Upload Elective Forms to the National Contravention Register (NCR)
- Upload physical documents/elective option forms to the NCR as prescribed.
- Perform necessary transactions on the NCR to acknowledge receipt of elective options.
- Verify that the correct document was uploaded.
- Shred documents once successfully uploaded to the NCR.
- Draw daily RD323 / 324 reports in support of processed applications.
Performance Management
- Manage personal performance in terms of the signed performance agreement.
- Participate in performance management reviews with the Manager / Supervisor as required.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification: Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: At least 3 years of administration and/or telephonic experience in a support services environment.
- Industry Experience: Experience working in the road traffic environment.
- Practical Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience in office administration support functions.
