Core Responsibilities
The primary objective of this role is to provide safe, reliable, and efficient transportation services. Beyond driving, the successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the agency’s operational efficiency.
Key Responsibility Areas:
- Executive Support: Providing high-level travel support for SITA’s executive leadership.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conducting minor vehicle checks and coordinating major maintenance or repairs with third-party service providers to ensure vehicles remain roadworthy.
- Administrative Tasks: Assisting with general office administration and running various errands as required.
- Asset Management: Ensuring the assigned vehicle is kept clean and in excellent condition at all times.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for the Driver position, candidates must meet specific educational and professional benchmarks:
- Education: Grade 12 / Matric (NQF Level 4) or an equivalent qualification.
- Licensing: Must possess a current and valid South African Driver’s License and a valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).
- Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience as a personal driver for a Senior Executive or as a Personal Chauffeur.
- Certification: Any additional driving or transport-related certifications will be considered a distinct advantage.
