Introduction
To maintain the cleanliness of all designated areas as directed using appropriate equipment and/or materials as supplied and ensure that the areas to which they are assigned to remain clean and orderly.
Job description
- Clean all designated yard areas using the correct tools and equipment, ensuring thorough and consistent upkeep.
- Use appropriate cleaning materials for specific surfaces to maintain hygiene and avoid damage.
- Ensure cleaning materials are available and stored properly.
- Perform heavy-duty cleaning tasks and participate in special projects when required.
- Ensure the yard remains compliant with food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Actively work to minimize daily and monthly GMP findings.
- Promptly report any deficiencies, safety hazards, or maintenance issues to management.
- Follow up to ensure that necessary repairs and corrective actions are completed timeously.
- Collaborate with team members and support other departments as needed.
- Uphold a positive and cooperative working environment by assisting wherever help is required.
Minimum requirements
- A Grade 12 certificate is non-negotiable.
- Experience in Yard cleaning will be added as an Advantage.
