By managing this synchronization, the Administration Clerk ensures that the accounts payable team receives accurate, verified data for further processing, thereby preventing financial discrepancies and maintaining supplier trust.

Detailed Roles and Responsibilities

​The duties for this position are diverse, spanning from daily financial capturing to specialized compliance verification. Key responsibilities include:

  • Financial Document Management: The accurate and timely processing of invoices is the backbone of this role. This includes managing the lifecycle of a transaction from receipt to routing for payment.
  • Operational Capturing: You will be responsible for capturing stores requisitions and managing the data entry for critical spares issues, ensuring that inventory records remain up to date.
  • Banking and Requisitions: Beyond simple data entry, the role involves active participation in banking tasks and the loading of both standard and emergency Purchase Requisitions (PRs).
  • Logistics Coordination: The incumbent will manage courier arrangements, ensuring that documents and items move efficiently between departments or external partners.
  • Compliance and Verification: A specialized aspect of this role involves the verification of BBBEE certificates and Letters of Good Standing, ensuring that the company maintains its regulatory and ethical standards.
  • Safety and Environment: Adherence to corporate Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) standards is mandatory, reflecting AECI’s commitment to a safe workplace.

Qualifications and Professional Requirements
