Description
The Project Manager is responsible for the effective management of several Projects, overseeing Study Coordinators, recruitment, retention, quality and other related study metrics, tracked via real-time per project study status reports, and to chair weekly recruitment/retention meetings and attend other study related meetings.
Technical Work Responsibilities
- ​Liaise with Stakeholders.
- ​Apply knowledge and understanding of TB in screening and diagnostics.
- ​Apply knowledge of SA GCP and ensure compliance.
- ​Project management and coordination.
- ​Site management.
- ​Quality control management.
- ​General administration.
- ​Human Capital Management.
- ​Research co-ordination.
- ​Budget tracking.
- ​Metric tracking and reporting.
- ​MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
- ​SAHPRA and WHREC submissions.
- ​Meeting co-ordination and action item tracking.
Requirements
​Education
- ​Four-year Bachelor’s Degree from College or University in Nursing.
- ​Masters Public Health.
- ​Certificate in Project Management.
- ​Registration with SANC.
​Advantageous
- ​Experience in qualitative data collection and analysis.
​Experience
- ​At least 3 year’s experience in Project Management.
- ​Experience in analysing Data and summarising vast amounts of Data into Graphs.
- ​Experience working in facilities and community settings within Sarah Baartman and Nelson Mandela Bay districts in the Eastern Cape province.
​Requirements
- ​Excellent personal computer skills (knowledge and skill in using Microsoft office package, in particular MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.)
- ​SA Citizen or valid work permit to work in South Africa.
- ​Driver’s license.
- ​Own car.
- ​Minimal/Moderate/Excessive overnight travel (up to 30%) by land or air if required.
- ​Willing to work overtime.
