​Minimum Requirements

​To qualify for these roles, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Education: A minimum of Grade 10 or an ABET certificate.
  • Technical Knowledge: Insight into the safe removal and movement of furniture and equipment.
  • Experience:
    • ​Relevant experience in carrying out minor repairs.
    • ​Experience in assembling furniture.
    • ​Warehouse experience will be considered an added advantage.
  • Skills:
    • ​Ability to read and write.
    • ​Physical fitness and willingness to carry out physical work assignments.
    • ​Ability to work under pressure.
    • ​Good interpersonal skills to interact with other officials.

​Key Duties and Responsibilities

​The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the department’s stores. Main functions include:

  • ​Maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • ​Ensuring the issuing of stock is handled according to the department’s official inventory policy.
  • ​Receiving stock from external suppliers and verifying deliveries.
  • ​Providing general support to ensure stock levels are properly maintained.
